This is the blog haus of Oldhaus Fibers. I will have notes about projects, fibers, food, drink, and our OLD HAUS! We live in Historic Amana, Iowa. In one of the very first of the communal buildings erected in 1854. The haus has had many lives, many families inside its walls. We continue to find something and wonder why did they do that? Every day! 160 years is a bit, an I am sure we are only 1/2 way or less for our old building!
